Depuration is one of the post-harvest handling of shellfish with the aim of washing toxic contamination materials in clam meat. This study aims to reduce the heavy metal content and total bacteria in green mussel meat as well as organic matter in water from the depuration process of green mussels. The observed research variables are heavy metal content, total bacteria, organic matter, and water quality. The results showed that giving alginate extract in the filter was able to reduce the metal content of lead (Pb) and total bacteria in green mussel meat and organic matter in the water of the depuration process. The results of the timabal heavy metal test on green mussel meat showed 0.00 mg/kg or were not detected either before or after the depuration process. The calculation of bacterial colonies on green mussel meat showed a decrease of 6.25x108 CFU/g, from 20.05 x108 CFU/g to 13.80 x108 CFU/g. The total organic matter in the water of the depuration process of green mussels depuration was able to reduce the total organic matter in water by 6.32 mg / L, from 31.6±0.0 mg / L to 25.28±0.00 mg / L. Water quality measurements showed a temperature of 28.90ºC, salinity of 28.50ppt, dissolved oxygen 8.90mg / L, ammonia 0.20mg / L, pH 7.13ppm.
Nur Sa'diyah, Ummul Firmani, Andi Rahmad Rahim Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Airaha https://jurnalairaha.polikpsorong.ac.id/index.php?journal=airaha&page=article&op=view&path%5B%5D=500 Sat, 01 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0700 The Increasing of Growth Performance Tilapia (Oreocromis niloticus) Whit addition of Kebar Grass (Biophytum petersianum K) https://jurnalairaha.polikpsorong.ac.id/index.php?journal=airaha&page=article&op=view&path%5B%5D=597
The aim of this research was to determine the effect of adding kebar grass flour (B. petersianum) to feed on the growth of tilapia fish. The research results showed that the highest growth was in treatment A, while the lowest growth in treatment D was 5.83 ± 0.98 cm. The highest increase in fish weight and daily growth rate (SGR) was in treatment A, namely 4.70 ± 0.59 g and 0.11 %/day, with the lowest FCR value in treatment A. The Batik Lobster (P. l. femoristriga) studied weighed 237±50 grams, with carapace length and width of 7.9 ±0.74 cm and 4.76±0.49 cm, and total lobster under testing of 64 lobsters. The research had different treatments, such as 28, 31, and 34⁰/ₒₒ salinity. The study discovered that the gonadosomatic index of the male lobster (0.44±0.27%) was lower than the female lobster (0.47±0.15%). As for the histological appearance of the lobster, the first and second gonadosomatic indexes were dominated by the oogonia and previtellogenic oocyte stages. It contrasts with the third and fourth gonadosomatic indexes, which were dominant in the mature stage. This research aims, among other things, to understand the methods and techniques of capturing mangrove crabs by fishermen in three neighborhoods: Kladufu, Remu Selatan, and Klawasi in Sorong City. Additionally, the study analyzes the supply chain system of mangrove crab catches, from fishermen to traders or collectors. The research employs a descriptive method and supply chain analysis, with a total of 69 respondents consisting of fishermen, traders, and collectors.

The research results indicate that the primary tool used for catching mangrove crabs is crab traps (bubu), covering fishing grounds from the waters of Sorong City to those of Sorong Regency. The supply chain analysis reveals the involvement of five marketing entities: fishermen, large-scale traders, collectors, small-scale vendors, and consumers. In the distribution network, Kelurahan Kladufu has three channels, Kelurahan Klamana has two, and Kelurahan Remu Selatan has two as well.
Hendra Poltak, Handayani Handayani, Abdul Kohar, Muhfizar Muhfizar Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Airaha https://jurnalairaha.polikpsorong.ac.id/index.php?journal=airaha&page=article&op=view&path%5B%5D=583 Sat, 01 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Analysis of Fuel Consumption on the Phinisi Natural 001 https://jurnalairaha.polikpsorong.ac.id/index.php?journal=airaha&page=article&op=view&path%5B%5D=536
The need for fuel on a ship plays a very important role in shipping operations. Therefore, research was carried out related to biological aspects based on the long-weight relationship of Sardinella fimbriata and reproductive aspects, namely based on the size of first maturity. Field data collection was carried out for 21 days with a total of 14 fishing trips. During these 14 trips, settings were carried out 21 times. The fishing ground of KM. Sardinella fimbriata that caught at Muara Angke has the range of total length about 120-160 mm and a weight range of 20-45 grams. This indicates that Sardinella fimbriata has undergone a gonad maturation process.
