The Increasing of Growth Performance Tilapia (Oreocromis niloticus) Whit addition of Kebar Grass (Biophytum petersianum K)
Peningkatan Kinerja Pertumbuhan Ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) dengan Penambahan Tepung Rumput Kebar (Biophytum petersianum K)
Abstract
The aim of this research was to determine the effect of adding kebar grass flour (B. petersianum) to feed on the growth of tilapia fish. The research was conducted from February-December 2019. The research was carried out experimentally using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with five treatments (0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%) and three replications. The research results showed that the highest growth was in treatment A, while the lowest growth in treatment D was 5.83 ± 0.98 cm. The highest increase in fish weight and daily growth rate (SGR) was in treatment A, namely 4.70 ± 0.59 g and 0.11 %/day, with the lowest FCR value in treatment A. The optimum dose of adding barley grass flour to the feed had an effect on growth, FCR, SR Tilapia fish are in treatment A. Further research is needed using other fish as testing media to determine the optimum dose in supplementing feed with kebar grass
